TEXAS CRAB   FESTIVAL
ESSAY CONTEST

The Texas Crab Festival will be holding the 2^nd Essay Contest this year in honor of Mother's Day. Grades 6^th & 7^th are invited to participate. The theme will be "Most Memorable Time Spent With your Mom".

Think of a time when you and your mom spent together that always brings a smile to your face.

All essays should be written in a loving and sincere matter about one's mother or someone that the student feels is motherly to them, and approximately 250 words long. There will be cash awards given to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in each grade.

High Island School and Bolivar Intermediate School. The winners will also be invited to read their essay to their mother and present her with flowers on the main stage Sunday May 12, 2002
