Lenore Osten (known by many as “Mike”), was the founder of crystalbeach.com. While in her 70’s, she took on a whole new challenge. She wanted to get the word out about her beloved Crystal Beach and Bolivar Peninsula, and was one of the first to develop a website in the area. She spent countless hours in front of the terminal making sure the site was entertaining and informative, answering every inquiry. She was devoted to making it a favorite site for visitors to the beach.

Mike passed away at the age of 82. She was a most amazing woman, with love in abundance during a 61 year marriage to her dear husband Earl (Bop) Osten. To her 7 children, 20 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, she is deeply missed. Countless lives were touched by her spirit.
