Directions to Crystal Beach & Bolivar Peninsula

FROM HOUSTON
Take I 45 south to Galveston. Continue straight down Broadway until you reach the beach. Turn left to Ferry Road, (two stop lights). Left again on Ferry Road to the landing. It takes the free Ferry 13 minutes to travel across Galveston Bay to Bolivar Peninsula.

When you get off the Ferry you are on Highway 87 at the community of Port Bolivar, home of the Bolivar Lighthouse - Click and the North Jetty, famous for fishing.
Continue on Highway 87 approximately 12 miles to reach Driftwood Subdivision. (opposite the "Big Store"/groceries.) At Texas first Bank, turn right into Driftwood Subdivision, 5 streets straight ahead to Sandpiper. Turn right, house is second on right, 2383 Sandpiper, "Day Dream N".

Crystal Beach is northeast on Highway 87 from the Ferry Landing. Our great Gulf front location makes summer, fall, spring and even winter months ideal for family vacations on Bolivar. Summer is the time for spending lazy days on the beach, shelling, crabbing or fishing. Spring is for birdwatching and more shelling, and the fall fishing is great.

FROM BEAUMONT

Take I 10 west to Winnie, then head south on Highway 124 until you come to the beach road, Highway 87. Turn right, go about 7 miles to the bridge at Rollover Fishing Pass -  Click in the community of Gilchrist. After the bridge, it is 8 miles to Driftwood, turn left into subdivision. .

THRU BAYTOWN & WINNIE
ALTERNATE ROUTE TO AVOID THE FERRY

Take IH 10 east thru Baytown and to Winnie, Texas. At Winnie, turn south on Hwy 124. Head south on 124 to the beach! Turn right, (going west) for about 14 miles thru Gilchrist to Crystal Beach. You will be entering Crystal Beach at Singing Sands subdivision and on the right of the highway is our new water storage tank. Driftwood about 4 miles, (across Hwy 87 from "the Big Store")
